Pragmatics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support US Naval Research Laboratory. The position is in Washington, DC.

Job Requirements

Minimum of fifteen years of directly related experience providing solutions to a wide range of technical and computer engineering requirements in a Standard Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliant Linux based enterprise level (in support of at least 3000 users) environment.

This experience having been performed within the last five years.

• Demonstrated experienced with the design and deployment of both physical and virtual servers providing a variety of IT services.
• Demonstrated experience with technical and engineering support toward the design, development, installation, test and operation of VMware-based infrastructure and services in a large enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience in the design, development and implementation of Linux cloud-based services utilizing DOD IL2, IL4, IL5 and IL6 cloud providers.
• Relevant technical expertise and engineering support toward the design, installation, implementation and operation of Linux-based identity management solutions such as Red Hat Identity Management (IDM).
• Direct experience in the configuration of systems and services to meet Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert Bulletin (IAVA/B) compliance requirements as well as all applicable Standard Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements and compliance with all Navy Communications Tasking Orders (CTO), Operations Orders (OPORD) and other Navy and/or DoD Directives as applicable to the subject SOW.
• Demonstrated experience in working with application owners (both client/server and web applications) to ensure application requirements are met in support of 1900-suported applications.
